Andrews Software and Image Fortress to Deliver Integrated Solution for Records Management

Image Fortress Corporation and Andrews Software, Inc. announced today that they have partnered to market an integrated solution for managing corporate and government records stored in records centers and digital archives. With this integrated solution, Andrews Software customers will be able to perform a single search, from a desktop PC web browser, to locate, access and retrieve records that are being stored either in paper or electronic format.
As organizations move from archiving vital information in paper format to storing these records electronically, locating the correct records in a timely fashion becomes increasingly important though much more difficult now that records can be either paper or digital. Currently, searching for paper and digital records is a two-step process. Through the combination of InfoKeeper™ and DigitalFortress™, customers will be able to simultaneously search for and access records that are stored in paper at one or more records centers or in the DigitalFortress archive service.

InfoKeeper enables customers with a web browser and proper security to fully manage their paper records. Capabilities include: search, retrieval, data entry, custom reporting (no need for the records center to print and deliver), and ordering services such as document destruction and item pick-up and return.
